I can't get Logic 4.7 to work with my Delta 1010 using the EASI drivers, but it seems to work fine with ASIO. Should I even care? Am I missing something important? Should I take the time and trouble to figure out why EASI won't work???

Thanks, Steve

Hi;
I also use the Delta 1010 with Logic Audio 4.7.3.
I don't think the delta has an easi driver does it?
Easi is Logics own proprietary driver mainly used with their own audio cards. As far as benefits of EASI I don't know if thre is reduced latency or not.
When I'm recording I use the Delta monitor mixer and mute the recording channel in Logic and ta da no Latency.

There is an EASI driver, but I can't get it to work. Logic found the driver when I did the install, and allowed me to configure it, at least partially.

I'm using the ASIO driver, and everything seems to be working. I use the software monitoring, and un check the "input monitoring", and the latency is not a problem. With both "input monitoring" and "software monitoring checked, you can actually hear the latency, but it is very low, to the point where the two sounds are *almost* on top of each other.

I'm just getting setup...do you mind if I email you as I try to figure all this stuff out?

Thanks, Steve Porter
