Cubase SX sampling rate?

Hey
Do any of you guys know what the highest samp. rate for SX is? Sweetwater's website says it's 48k but that can't be right cause it also says SL is 192khz. I just wondered because Sonar is 96 and it seems like a waist of money to pay $300 dollars more for worse quality.
