Hard Drive speeds

I am building a system for cubase and logic, with new mobo and processor. does anyone know if I can use tre hard drive from previous sytem for OS and programs, and new drive for audio? The hitch: Old drive is IDE ATA-66, new drive would be ATA-100 or 133. Does the different interface speed matter? The mobo supports both speeds. Would one slow the other down? That should work just fine:) It never hurts to have the slower drive be faster, but it should work with no problems:)
