Hi, I Use a digi 002 with a Powerbook G4 800. I of course only have one firewire port, but I bought a PCMCIA cardbus that gives me two more firewire ports. I read in the digi 002 specs hints about using two firewire drives. I just wanderd if anyone uses two at the same time and if it yields better performance. Do you just put sertain parts one one and others on the other? Or do you round robin? Let me know any experiences with this. THANKS!

I presently have 6 drives I use for audio, 4 internal and 2 external FW. Of course, this isn't in a laptop. I do find better processor overhead, but because of all the playback buffers, I do get a lag of start/stop performance.
I'll take more tracks for that. I've used up to 32 tracks at a time this way, but I'm using MOTU products.
