Hi
I just installed Absynth for pro tools. (using directconnect). Immediately after installation Absythn works. Once I close the program however and try to open absynth again, I get " error type 11" and the program immediately quits telling me to restart the computer.

If I trash my preferences and reinstall, I can open the program again - once.

Any thoughts, fixes?

Thanks

alot of questions to ask....

1.) what OS are you using?
2.) how much RAM do you have?
3.) do you overclock?
4.) is this retail or "warez" version?

this may help me to help you

What follows is the response I received from native Instruments.
Whn I disabled the USB Floppy Enabler, Absynth worked fine.

----------

there is most probably a conflict with another system extension.

Known extensions causing conflicts are:

-Adobe Type Manager 4.6.2 (under MacOS 9.1)
-Action Files
-USB Floppy Enabler
-Fax STF extensions

Disabling these extensions should fix the problem.

If this doesn't help you may go to the "base setting" in your extensions
manager, add Absynth to the active extensions and restart the computer.
in a second step you can turn on other extensions (in groups of five or
so) to find the conflicting one.
