I'm curious as to how well the ChickenSystems Translator works at converting an entire CD from one sample format to another. In the demo version they have this feature disabled, where you can only convert a single patch.
I'm specifically interested in converting some Kurzweil format CDroms into native Akai or Giga format. As long as I can at least get the keymappings, velocity cross-switching or fading, and amplitude envelopes to properly translate.
So how well does the translator convert an entire Kurz format CD to Akai or Giga? Anyone here have extensive experience with these translations?
