TDM to PTLE to TDM?

I apologize if this is posted elsewhere...

I am wondering if there are any compatibility issues with starting a session in Tools HD, moving to an older (digi001) system, and then moving back to a Tools HD system.

Is there a minimum PTLE version that a TDM session is compatibile with?

To answer this question with any degree of accuracy I might need a bit more information however in the interim we'll give it a shot.

"LE" software came into existence as v5.0. So version compatibility should not be an issue. _Mix and HD will read v5 session files fine and vice versa. Of course your current version of "LE" will dictate how many tracks can be imported from Mix or HD. That is some "LE" software is 24 track capable and others 32 track capable. There could be one more hitch here. I don't believe v5.0 software supported cross platform compatibility. That is Mac and PC session sharing. If you need cross compatibility I'll need more info as to your specific situation.

There is then some obvious "stuff" that is well...obvious but none the less needs to be mentioned. No TDM plug ins will magically appear in your "LE" sessions at least not as TDM plug ins. The 001 and M-Box will only import 44.1 or 48K sessions. The 002 does support 96k but not higher.
