I've heard good things about this pre from a number of people. If you've had any experience with this pre your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I've got one and love it. It's got that Neve 1073 mic amp character, but cleaner and tighter. Great on drums, amazing on electric guitars, awesome on some vocals. Very flexible in that you can adjust the amount of coloration by varying the ratio between the input and output gain.

Also, it's very well put together, and Dan Kennedy is a great and very knowledgeable guy.

Highly recommended.

I've been doing some research on these as well. They really sound like a great unit. I'm starting to get that bad, covetous feeling for one of the single channel MP1s.

Anyone know a good reputable distributor for Great Rivers stuff? I've heard that the MP1s retail for $1200 and have been going for around $975 on the street.

I wish Sweetwater would carry them, but Mercenary Audio (http://www.mercenary.com) is a good dealer, and they have Great River gear.

Thanks, Michael. Cool link. I see that they also carry the RNC for a good price.
