Hi everyone. I'm currently using Logic Platinum and PT LE (001) on a G4. Just today I tried syncing Logic to PTLE (with pt as the master) and it all worked out OK. My problem is that I can't seem to get Logic and PTLE to use the 001 at the same time. Meaning...if I have a PTLE session open, there goes the use of Logic's audio instruments. If there's absolutely no way to fix this, then I'm open to getting an additional interface for Logic (2408 mkIII looks great to me). If I go this route, though, will I be able to run everything at the same time...as in PTLE/001 running at the same time as Logic/2408? I've tried searching the web (as well as the Logic yahoo group and Digi's DUC) for this...but I haven't found any really good explanations. Thanks :)
My first question to you would be why are you using the digi001 when you've got Logic Platinum?

I bought digi001 first...that was in mid-2000. I was a longtime studio vision user, and last year (2002) I made the switch to Logic. I do a lot of production work on a PTHD3 system (at a different studio), so I'm used to editing and doing audio stuff in that environment. Another reason why I still want to use it is because some of my favorite plug-ins are RTAS only and not available as VST (bomb factory, etc). In retrospect I should have bought DP/2408 or Logic...but this is what I've got and I need to make the best of it. If I do upgrade to a TDM system, I won't have problems since there's an bridge for Logic and TDM. I'm trying to keep my 001 useful for as long as possible. :)
