What laptop should I get??

Okay so, currently I have a Windows XP Computer, and I use FL Studio to produce my music, and Cool Edit Pro to record it.
I want to get a Macbook Pro but I also want to keep working with FL Studio, because I can't play instruments too well yet, but I can still make pretty good productions. And I also want to get into pro-tools to record but I hear Macs are suited better for them.
What I want to know is if there is a GREAT Windows laptop that could fully run Pro-Tools in or should I just get a Mac??
And I'm only using it to record and mix vocals, occasional guitar and to make beats.

If you're already thinking about a MacBook long term, maybe a MacBook w/ Boot Camp running Windows is an option.

The Mac hardware is hard to beat. When you consider that it has a 5-8hr battery depending on model, the display resolution is higher than most similar sized notebooks, the chassis is solid aluminum, and the display is LED backlit, the price is really very reasonable compared to an equivalent PC notebook.
