Sound Forge 6.0 question

Is it possible to record and listen to the instrumental at the same time with this program? I am asking this because when I click on the record button the music stops playing. Can anybody help me with this problem?

I've use Sound Forge for years and as far as I know, what you want to do cannot be done with it.

It depends on your soundcard.
I do it all the time and I am using a Soundblaster Audigy card
