Keep in mind, this is ALL OASYS. NOTHING else was used. The Instantaneous Connection track was my friend rapping. The mic itself wasn't very good, but I managed to make it sound as good as I could.
A LOT of these were created on the spot from pure inspiration. I'd just sit at the OASYS and next thing I know, I'm playing something new and I don't even realize it after I play it two or three times.
Other times, I'm using KARMA and I hear something, I get it down, work with it, next thing I know, I'm adding tracks on top of it.
Other times, and very rarely does this happen, I hear a melody or something in my head and I get it down and record the main part and go on to the next track.
Despite the outdated sequencer it works REALLY well. I'm living proof of that. The fact that the OASYS is hands down THE BEST sounding workstation I've EVER laid my hands on, makes it all worth it, though.
I should also add, that in Rhythm of Motion, the Program in the beginning was created with MOD-7 and STR-1. When I added the LFO's and the Step Sequencer with the BPM Delay, It was brought to life! When I added the Drums to match it, even I was amazed by what came out! WOW!
I LOVE MY OASYS! I couldn't ask for a better instrument! This thing after 3 YEARS (well, 2 years actually, because it was stolen from me and I got it back some 14 months later, unbelievably) STILL blows me away! I have NEVER gotten tired of it, I have NEVER found myself even wanting more, I mean, I am literally LIVING my dream! WOW!
