Anyone have a New MDD and Digi001?

Hey there, my name is Kenneth Lovell, and I want to buy a new mac(dual 867), and use a Digi001 system that I`ve had for a while. Is there anyone out there running a system like this?

I`ve heard there is a problem with the logic board that is fixable, but I`ve yet to talk to anyone who has done this sucessfully. Any feedback woudl be greatly appreciated.

Michael Eads told me it was taken care of, and Ted Hunter told me there is a "fix" for it.
I appreciate BOTH replies very much, but I was also hoping to find someone who has been through the "fix" for this system before I buy it.

At the Apple Discussion groups, it looks like some users have had to send thier macs back for motherboard replacements. In addition, under OS9, the Apple Audio Extensions have to be turned off. Right now, however, I would strongly recommend waiting for the OSX release of ProTools and ride out the switchover and see what DigiDesign says. They've had a bit more time to address the issue now.
