Hello all, this is my first post, and I am quite the pro-audio rookie- I state this because my question might seem like a basic one but here goes:
I sometimes get a very crunchy, static-like sound when I try to play audio in a program like Fruity-Loops, etc, and I was wondering if anyone knew why this would be? I think it might have to do with latency, but I am not sure how or why.
My setup is just a PC with onboard sound and an M-audio mobile usb preamp which I use to play my MIDI, etc. from.
Again I am quite new and perplexed by all of this, so any info would be very much an educational experience. Thank you!
