my crown IT 4000 amp control encoders does not work i dont know how to reset the amp so it can work pls help

my crown IT 4000 amp control encoders does not work i dont know how to reset the amp so it can work pls help

These amps are connected to the front panel via a ribbon cable that has a tendency to work loose in the socket. I fixed a couple of these with zip ties to prevent the cable from coming loose. At least one newer one doesn't have the "ears" to attach the zip ties to. :(

I'm a little surprised at this weak point to what seems otherwise decent amps.
