MOTU's Ultralite and Live 7

Hey. I have recently purchased a MOTU mk3 ultralite secondhand and am having a little trouble getting started with it, as there was no hard documentation or manuals that came with it. I have an analog drum machine as well as an analog synth hooked up to inputs 3 and 4. When played, the LCD screen shows that some signal is being received, however when the MOTU is hooked up via firewire to my computer, my DAW (Live 7) does not get any audio signal, as well as my headphones when plugged into the headphone jack, no sound. Is there something I am missing in the routing?

Also, is there a manual to the mk3 that I can download anywhere?

I use Live Lite 6, and I am assumeing that you installed the drivers for your interface.

Under the options menu in Live go to Preferences and click on the audio tab.
Look under the pull down for your MOTU interface.

If it is there, select it, then click on your input and output tabs and assign them accordingly. Also make sure you have the correct track armed in Live.

yes that is all together. it just seems like there is a setup or mixer setting not set up right.
