Can any one advise me on how to sync the Triton Le with Cubebase VST 3.0 on PC. I have a Audigy Plat Sound card.
Some of the ARP's on the Triton are pretty good and I want to sync them with Cubase as the master Controller. I have changed the Triton's clock to EXT. But When I start the program and play the keyboard the ARP does not play, I just get it to play as a normal key board. What am I doing wrong. If you need further info to solve this for me please ask away.
Thanks
i have a Nord Lead and as much a pain as it is to setup Midi Clock, ill try to help.
first, setup a Midi Track and have it point to your Midi driver on the Soundblaster (might i add that you should get a better card...soundblasters SUCK for doing music), then setup your Triton according to your manual. set the BPM in Cubase, then hit play, then hit the keys.
you should hear your Arpeggiator going as well as a lower, constant "pulse", which would be the proper beat, so then just either slow down the Arpeggiator or speed it up to match that "pulse".
it is kinda hard at first....but overall...Midi Clock is a pain and i hate it.
all keyboards from here on out with Arpeggiators on them should have some sort of way to set a BPM on the keyboard itself, bypassing Midi Clock cause its a damn pain!!!
hope that helped ya!

Thanks tried all off that still no joy! I'm not sure if the SB card is transmitting a timming clock. It does not mention it in the manual. If somebody knows how to configure the card to be slaved to my keyboards then that would be better. As you said the SB cards are not really that usefull for music. Which card (If any) do you use?
Thanks anyway
i suggest either a Terratec DMX 6/Fire or the Audiophile 24/96
both cheap and both rock the house!!!
