After years of running a Mac-only facility with several Macintosh computers on the same LAN -- sharing files and applications via either AppleTalk (pre-OSX) or the Network view (post-OSX), I've recently made a change and now have one Mac (w/ dual boot drives running both OSX 10.3.9 and OS 9.2.2) and one PC (running Vista 32-bit).
They're both connected to the same LAN as before. I know the PC can see the LAN because the internet connection works fine.
But the PC can't see the Mac & vice-versa.
Any idea what I need to do to configure a Vista machine to recognize a Mac on the network?
(And please, be gentle: I'm a Windows noob so I probably won't understand wtf you're talking about unless you explain it in simple, remedial terms! Thanks)
