Last night I used my MOTU 896 and TIbook 1.12g 800mhz with audiodesk and my new fantom firewire drive. I recorded a live show with 2 track soundboard left and right and 2 tracks audience left and right. For the most part everything went fine. Today I opened up the session and assigned the outputs and such.
Track 1- SBD left
Track 2- SBD right
Track 3- Aud left
Track 4- Aud right
When playing back, track 2 dropped out (no signal in the mix window) the waveform was there but when you zoomed in a little it dissappeared. I tried opening it again in the soundbytes window and pulling t back in but it was 'blank' again. I tried opening new sessions and inporting the file but could not recover it. I chalked it up as a loss, and powered down to get food and take a break. I got back on again later and was gonna do 3 tracks
Track 1- SBD mono
Track 2- Aud left
Track 3- Aud right
After getting the audience mics moved in time and changing the levels a little, the same thing happened to track 3. Dissapeared. I just got up and came to this PC to type this up.
Any ideas?
