Logic Instruments Help

So I posted this thread in another category and got no responses; I'm hoping someone in here will answer it.

I have two questions:

1. Is there a free and easy way to convert my Kontakt library into .EXS instruments for the EXS 24 sampler in Logic? Alternatively, does the EXS 24 have .NKI support? How is it, does anyone know?

2. I have also been trying to make my own patches in Ultrabeat, but I can find no way to import my own samples, and the help files don't seem to suggest that I can even do that. Anyone know for sure?

cant help you on number 1

what do you mean by patches on ultrabeat? you want to load your own samples and use them?

use the drag and drop samples kit. in the bottom to the left of osc 2 where it usually shows a soundwave of the sample, click the drop down bar that says no sample loaded and you can get the option to load a sample. you can then select each key on the piano roll to load a sample on

once you have all the sounds you want loaded, go up to the kit name drop down box and select to save it.
