This is probably a bit of a daft question but I have seen a mic that is 5.6mv/Pa, S/N 70dB - the AT822
Is that a good enough spec for a low noise mic? as I realise that mics go much higher than that.
Oddly, the AT825 which people say is better is even less sensitive!
I currently use a cheap mono electret £25. I do not know the specs as they are not published.
