low end on monitors

Doe's placing my monitors on 1 concrete block to raise it to a higher level affect the low end?
If so what should I use to raise them 8 inches?

Depends on the monitor and what it is sitting on before placing the block under it, but a general answer is that it probably will not cause a big change.
