A "How many" how many question.

Hi,guys there, I will writer a thesis about business with audio studios.
Now i have some questions to solve, I do not know if sb. here can eveluate the question:

How many Audio studios(includes video studio, they are also with sound) on the world / USA?

How many studios in New York?

How many people
1.Product of machines, like moniter, syns, sound cards
2.Product of music, includes musicians, composers, engineers,Microphones....
3.Economy charge around the issues....
are working in the industry issue now?

How many Media production with how long audio length published every year?(like 1 million and 1billion minuts?)

How much money from business deals for the media with audio?
(like film, tv, CD,shows)...


Ok, I do not know how many questions more, but for above, it will be very kind if sb. can give me some advise or answers.

That's a tough one, there's no real way of telling, at least as you've asked the questions. I mean if someone with a 8-track in their basement can a "studio" alongside the multi-room studios running ProTools HD, then it's impossible to find even a reasonable guess. You're probably going to have to narrow down your questions. Or if you wanted to narrow down to a certain editing platform you might be able to call the manufacturer and ask them how many registered systems or studios are using their gear...that might give you a ballpark.

The focus of this topic is to eveluate the approximately number of studios, not that accurate...

Yeas, it is true, that many people use 8 tracks recorder at home, but I think it is a greate group of people which is going to be a engineer of a studio bcs I believe that not so much people will play 8 track recorders like a toy.

So, the task for me now is collect the data....
