Suddenly, my Bomb Factory plugs won't recognize my ILok, and ask me to re-authorize them, at which point they still won't see the ILok. It worked fine before, and nothing has changed on my system. All the proper ILok extensions are present and enabled, and I've tried using the ILok in several different USB ports. What gives? I'm using a Mac G4 dual 800 with DP3 and OS 9.2. Any ideas? After this, it's off to Sweetwater tech support.

Michael,
I had the same exact problem and it has become a nightmare. I first contacted Bombfactory support and told them of my faulty chip, which when I informed them via email (they do not have a phone number posted on their website), they did not believe me and asked me to send them my chip with the card indicating the serial number. I sent them my chip and they verified that an authorization was on it and provided me with a response "iilf" file, which did not work with the authorizer's challenge code. I then informed them of this and they told me that they cannot provide me with another iilf file because I own an iLok chip! They still have it!!! Now I do not have the chip, nor do I have a proper iilf file. I basically am out over $400.00 that I paid (I purchased through Sweetwater) and now I do not even have the chip to show Sweetwater for a replacement!!! It ticks me off because I am an honest customer and they keep treating me like I'm trying to pull some kind of scam on them!
Hopefully your story will have a better ending than mine.
