Guitar Rig 3 w/o Service Pack 2

Does anyone know if guitar rig 3 will work if I don't have windows service pack 2? I know it says that it needs it in the specs, but I wasn't sure if it would just make it run slower or not work at all.

Also, if it is not good for the program, is it still ok if I install guitar rig first and then get the service pack after that? The problem is that my studio computer doesn't have internet and I can't figure out how to get SP2 on that computer yet because it keeps asking me to go online and authorize it and I have yet to get support on the phone.

I'm sure if you just go to the Microsoft site you'll be fine, no harm in that. I'd apply the service pack first, then the guitar rig second.

SP2 is a pretty standard requirement for a LOT of software. I recommend getting it installed regardless of GR3.
