Hi, all.

I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what I'm really hearing from my current monitors (Roland DS-90's) and am thinking about ditching them and getting something better.

This looks almost too good to pass up - just looking for any comments from anyone who has used or owns these.

I've used older Tannoy monitors in the past, and liked them, but just thought I'd get some feedback on this specific one.

Thanks,

SF

Haven't used any of their digital ones. I have used the Reveal 6 passive monitors and thought they were pretty good. I also used a predecessor to the Precision series that I thought were quite nice as well. I'm sure these are capable monitors, but no idea how they sound compared to anything else.

My theory is that they could not possibly fail to be an improvement over my Rolands - for whatever reason, it could be the room for that matter, I have to really watch the bottom end. When I get a mix where it sounds good on the rolands it always has about twice as much low end as required when playing it somewhere else. I've resorted to using a spectrum analyzer to know what I'm getting. A sad state of affairs.

Thanks for the input.
