Digi 002

Hi everyone. Got my Digi 002 from sweetwater 2 days ago . Was surprised with the size of this thing it's much bigger then I thought. I haven't ( unfortunatly ) had much time to play with so maybe I'm doing something wrong because I have two issues. The first is , there is no instruction manual with this thing I'm guessing there is a pdf file or something like it to show me how to use it but I can't see it on the pro tools cd maybe it's on one of the other cd's. The other issue is I set up the softwear and pluged the Digi on the fire wire port of my Mac and when I launch pro tools I get a message that sounds something like this"please connect your Digidesign hardwear..." it seems I'm missing something maybe a simple step but since I have no set up info on the system I don't know what to do. If any of you has a 002 let me know if not I'll have to dig into this. Any who if you guys out there know something about this I realy appreciate your help. Thanks.

I just checked with our Digi rep. He said that there is no printed manual included in the digi002. You should however have recieved a relatively thick "Quick Start Guide"
He also indicated that the complete manual should be located on your cd in .pdf format.

If you didn't recieve your Quick Start Guide, give your Sales Engineer a call and we can make sure you recieve one. We can also set you up with our tech support staff and see what needs to be done about that connection problem.
