Hey Everyone,
It's the Big Dudes again. We're still in a pickle. We keep getting "Access Violation Occurred" when we try to load up our protools... and it's very frustrating.
We have tried 1) running a "misconfig" to stop the other programs that run on startup from interferring with the program, 2) repairing the program with the installation disk and 3) erasing all of the DAE preferences from the hard drives (Matt from from sweetwater was nice enough to offer us this solution. Thanks Matt). And yet, still no protools.
We are thinking that perhaps it may have something to do with the iLoks that we have, but we're not too versed at the Protools stuff, so we're not sure if this is the problem either.
The program was working fine, then we took about a month and a half break, and now this.
We're running on a Dell Latitude D 600 with about 11 GB of free space on the C Drive.
Any advice that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
