Hi all,
Im using PAZ meters to get an rms reading. If l playback a loop of a promo. I get a RMS Value. Which is fine, all good.
But the weird thing is after l have bounced it, the RMS value is different.
IE:
In loop mode of my promo - Constant reading at around -14dB(RMS).
After l have bounced: The reading is around -8db(RMS).

What should l believe or is there a better meter to look at. Is this a bug in PAZ?
IM using PTLE 7.3.1 002Rack

Cheers,
MG

Do you have the PAZ meter on the master fader prior to bouncing? Is there a volume adjustment on the master? Any other effects (limiter, etc.)?

Yes. I have the PAZ Meter on the master channel proir to bounce. Also on the same channel is comp/eq/limiter. PAZ is last in the chain.
I do my adjusting. But once l hit the value. I run it a couple of times to double check. Then l bounce. After bouncing thats when l see my value has changed. Even up to 4db(rms)

Thanks for your help...

Cheers,
MG
