Anyone know anything about the Sonorus Swissonic AD24? Thinking of getting it as a front end to Digi001 or MOTU 828/896. Thanks.

I've never listened to them, but the specs are very good and Swissonic has a loyal following. Even though I've never heard them in action, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that they're much better converters than the Digi or MOTU. Not quite the quality of DB or Prism, but probably a good investment. Actually, I'd love to do a comparison between Swissonic and the other converters in it's price range (Lucid, RME, etc.).

One certainly hears a lot more about Lucid & Apogee, so I was a-wonderin'.
