Hi all - I'm interested in figuring out how to use DP3 on a mac with Gigastudio sounds. Here's what I'll have:

-Power Mac with DP3 on it
-PC with gigastudio on it
-Delta 66 Omni Studio
-Midiman Midisport 2x2

I already own the PC with gigastudio on it, and DP3. (I'm still looking to purchase the mac). What's the best way to get the midi signals from DP3 to trigger the sounds in Gigastudio (if it requires equipment other than what I have, I'm still interested), and to get the audio produced in gigastudio back into DP3 to record as an audio track? Thanks!

You need MIDI into the PC and audio out. You can potentially do MIDI over Ethernet (depending on the software available for the Mac). You can potentially transfer the audio via S/PDIF to the Mac (depending on the audio interface you buy for the Mac). Other than that, if you use the MIDISport and the Delta 66 and set up the PC right, it will act like a hardware sampler.
