I was thinking about upgrading some hardware on my setup. I was thinking of buying a ac/dc converter(Rosetta 800/or 200) and probably adding some new monitors like the EVENT STUDIO PRECISIONS 8'' OR 6''. I'LL be adding a Newman TLM 193 to my mic collection(I dont know if I can call it a collection) but you understand.
But before making any order, Ive some issues with what would be better for my setup right now. I have a Tascam 1884 as my main board, I use its preamps, and a Focusrite Voicemaster pro. Everything else is software. I would like tu upgrade hardware, but keeping the rig i have right now. Could you counsel me i little bit with the information ive submited to you on this threadl? Make recomendations about the products ive mention before? Could I work with the rosetta and the fw1884? and if I can, do i need another preamp? a better one? do you have any other mic suggestions?
would anyone suggest going for a PT setup?

POWERBOOK 1.67 10.3.9 osx, 2 gig. Cubase SX3 , tascam vl5 monitors. Mics, Shure KSM 27, SM 58, SM57, SAMPSON MICS. pluginsssss......
