I am VERY new to recording!!!
Currently own......
PC:
2.1ghz Athlon
1gig Memory
2-80gig hdd
Soundcard:
Motu 828
Berringer Powerplay Pro Hedphone distibution
SOnar 2.1 and Nuendo 1.5
8-mics
I am looking for suggestions on how to expand this system. Ultimately I want to run a 24 track studio for Audio only.(NO MIDI) I will need to mic at least 8-10 drums, guitars, vocals, bass.
I still have time to return my 828 if I need to. I would like all 24 channels "hands on" mixing, so a mixer of some sort I need, It could be a 12 channel to begin with as long as I can add to it in the future.as well as a way to get the signal into my pc.
My budget is around 2100.00 unless I return my 828, then I am at the 2600.00 price range.
Please help build my system for me!!!
