Smaller keyboard suggestions

I'm going off to college soon and I'd like to have a keyboard with me. I love my Kurzweil PC88mx, but it's huge (in a dorm that'll matter) and I can't really transport it. Any suggestions for a smaller (76-key?) keboard that would be easier to transport? I'm looking to spent around $1000--so nothing too pricy.

How many sounds are you looking for? any other features?

The Kurzweil SP76 is a good buy but only has piano based sounds. It's well under $1000. The Alesis QS7.1 has a more sounds but is discontinued. We have a few left for $900.
