I have M-Audio BX8's for my main monitors. I'm definitely not saying they are the best monitors, but I've "learned" them per se. Anyways, they sound (translate) decent on mid and highs, but the lows don't translate well at all to outside sources. I mix drum/bass/guitars/vocals.
My question is should I get a Sub to fix my low end problem?? What kind of Sub are you using?
OR.....should I $**tcan the BX8's and go for something like Mackie HR824's or DynAudio's BM5A's and skip the sub? Trying to stay under $1000/pr. or under $1000 for the sub
