Can't Import Audio

In my DigiDesign 001 I can't import audio files all of a sudden.

The error reads " Could not complete Audio Import to track because: DEA error 2 was encountered...

Any suggestions would be wonderful!

Should that read "DAE"? Just making sure the DEA isn't on to me! :D

OK - Two questions: How much physical RAM do you have in the ol' Mac? And two, how much memory have you allocated to the DAE audio engine? Sounds like DAE is out of memory.

Go to your System Folder > DAE Folder > DAE and do a "Get Info" on the DAE application. If you have enough RAM to spare, try increasing the Preferred Size to 200 MB. While you're at it, do the same for your Pro Tools application.
