LG laptop focusrite saffire le

hi, is anyone using a LG f1-22ptv laptop and a focusrite saffire le soundcard? i cant seem too get any sound in or out i have tried everything for three days now and im getting pretty tired. so if you can help, please.

* Downloading and installing the latest drvers: http://www.focusrite.com/index.php?pageName=productSoftware&productName=saffire_le
* Make sure you have the Saffire LE specifically selected in whatever application you're using.

thanks for the reply, i have tried all these. im thinking theres something wrong with the cable, or maybe the computer just sint compatible with the soundcard but i cant see any reason for it not to be
