Help with Motu 1224/DP 2.7

I just recently installed the DP 2.7 (long overdue I know) but now my Motu 1224 is not corresponding correctly with it. Everything that I record has EXTREME clipping and distortion. I know the 1224 works because I was using it with DP 2.6 unless something happened?? I`m using a Mackie 24-8 board for the Mic Pres. Everything sounds like complete garbage, I can hear the recorded material and it sounds terrible. I recently contacted Dave Brow but I missed the call from the techs. I figured if I could get a quick fix on here I would save everyone the trouble. Thanks.

I have no idea off hand what would cause this, but while you're waiting to get with Tech I would reinstall the 2.7 all over again. If that doesn't work, and you have time, install 2.6 and see if it clears up. If nothing else you'll have more good info for the Tech.
