Is anyone experienced with Sound Diver? I'm trying to create a custom adaptation and the manual is less that clear.

Is there a Sound Diver forum somewhere that I can access?

Dennis, could you be more clear about the custom adaptation you are trying to create?? That would help quite a bit...

The unit I'm trying to model is a Fostex MIDI controlled mixer. It doesn't have a SysEx or bulk dump, you can only dump one scene at a time (bummer). The "manual" is completely obscure as far as I'm concerned. I don't really know how to start. I began with the "MIDI Mixer" example, as far as I could understand it, and created a couple of sliders that I thought would send MIDI Control messages (Controllers 16 and 17) but I never got any output.

What I would like to end up with is a virtual mixer, volume/pan/treble/bass/FX1/FX2 for each channel, then a master section. If I can get the sliders to work, I'll be fine. I'm fuzzy on how to create a "save" button that allows me to input a number before I press the button, and I'm completely at a loss as to how to get the existing settings. I have to send a Program Change for the scene number, then Controller 49 with the value 127 to get the settings back, then parse them into something usable.

Should we take this off line?

Are you suggesting it won't work on a PC? I'm running WinXP. The manual is difficult at best, but it suggests that what I want is possible, even on a PC.

I'm suggesting that Emagic will stop producing PC software now that Apple owns them.
