Im trying to record audio on an imac graphite, plugging in to the "sound in". When i hit a note, theres a fraction of a second befor the sound comes out..its not instant. Do i use usb instead? if so do i need an interface or something like that or is there software etc...Im using a SC 88 pro and a Gr-30 for midi, quick time plays midi files fine, but the same files in cake walk metro they seem to hickup or something, any suggestions? I only need to record 1 or 2 tracks at a time,Im switching from windows to mac and having a hard time converting can you help? I have a 512 megs of ram and 40 gig hd
