I have a Mac-based Pro Tools LE setup, and therefor in Mac OSX I have the ability to utilize the application iTunes. After a bounce in Pro Tools I usually import the bounced files into iTunes so that I can take advantage of the burn to disk feature. Is there an advantage to using an external CDR Burner such as the "HHB CDR-830 Burnit" (example) over a software-based application? Thanks, Rob
In theory the end result between the two should be exactly the same (provided you have iTunes set so it doesn't compress the files into MP3's or something). In practice there could be some subtle differences, but for one-off CD's I wouldn't sweat it.

Just. Doesn't. Matter.

I have a Digi 002 Rack (8 Analog Inputs) and have recently inquired about getting a DigiMax for a further more 8 Analog Inputs. I'm settled on the configuration of the 002 and DigiMax, although curiuous if it is possible to link two Digi 002's to get the same result. Thanks, Rob
