I found some snare drum rolls in the raw samples
file on the Sweetwater CD-ROM Session Drums. I'd like to use these drum roll sounds along with the Kurzweil stock drum kit, #54 Light Kit. Is there an easy way to substitute these drum rolls for some of the drum sounds that I don't use in the stock drum kit? The literature with the CD-ROM says you can build your own custom kits or swap out individual drums.
I skimmed the K2500 manual from cover to cover during numerous hours waiting in airports and the only thing I could find was Example 5 on page 19-9, Building a Drum Program; Using the Keymap Editor. This example seems to be building a kit from scratch, starting with a value of 168 silence for the keymap.

When I play my drum tracks, I try to play as many as possible drum sounds in one take as though I'm a real drummer instead of recording one sound at a time, using a loop to add additional sounds. That's why I want the drum rolls as part of the drum kit I'm using.

In the Setup mode you can create a keyboard that is split into eight different regions, each of which has its own instrument. Would this be the easiest way to play the drum rolls along with the stock drum kit?

Hi Tallmailman - I think your question is much more likely to get good answers if it is posted in the keyboards section. I've taken the liberty of moving it over there for you, and am locking this thread so no one mistakenly responds here.
