Hello
I am using Digital Performer 3 with Audioease's VST Wrapper. I am using the MOTU Midi Express MIDI interface. I am trying to setup DP so that I can use a VST instrument (TC works Mercury 1). The DP manual only covers MAS virtual instruments so I am a little unclear as to how I should do this. So far I have selected a new audio channel and selected Mercury 1 under the insert effect. I can then hear Mercury 1 when I click on the onscreen keys with my mouse.
How do I get Mercury 1 to respond to my MIDI keyboard or a MIDI track and then record the results into a DP audio track? Do I need to setup VST instruments in FreeMIDI? Help!
