DIGIOO1 Hardware Modification

Hello I am trying to gather any information on modifications that can be performed on
001 hardware. More specifically I have Mac sound out plugged into the monitor inputs on the 001 and would like to hear this audio come through the headphone jack when I'm outside of ProTools. I've been told it could be as easy as scratching out a piece of the curcuit board and connecting a wire. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be a help.

If I understand what you're trying to do correctly, you'd need a summing amp circuit to get the two signal paths to behave correctly. A major pain in the behind, and mods which render your 001 useless for resale and void the warranty.

Why not just buy a cheap mixer and sum the two sources external to the Digi?
