I need a software that can wipe out all browser data in windows xp .. like history, cookies, cache , etc., and i what that software to remove it all without the posibility of recovering any data afterwards. If anyone knows the solution to my problem, please reply here. Thank you.

Norton WipeInfo will do it - you can set the files for a 'Government Wipe' - the technique the Government endorses when clearing Classified information from a disc drive - that's not the default setting, however.

google the issue and I'd bet you can find Freeware that will do it, or a simple program that does just that job for less money than buying Norton Utilities (Norton is getting like Microsoft these days - their stuff is totally incestuous - it only wants to work with Norton's firewall and anti-virus products.)

Now, stay away from the pron ;)

Where I work we do a different type of "Government Wipe". Under armed guard I have to smash the drive to bits. I can't even bring CD's in and out.. if I have a CD I like and want to bring it to my office.. it's there for life.. it's never coming out.

That being said.. there's a lot of freeware to scramble the drive and over write each sector a hundred times.. but that will leave the drive dead.. i.e.; reformat time. I think this dude is asking about erasing his tracks from fiddling around on someone elses computer.. like getting rid of the "recently opened documents" etc, which is easy to do.. but it's more fun to watch these people squirm.

^^^ The Gov't ultimately smashes classified discs that are returned to them. Having a DSS-approved program to wipe the data allows companies to re-use media that was once classified.
