I know that MOTU says the IWILL KK266 supports the 2408 other IWILL boards, such as XP333 also works ok. I would look at MOTU site or contact their tech support. Nuendo.com forums also has quite a few people who use MOTU2408 and AMD stuff. You might check their as well.

I'm using an 828 on a 1.4G Athlon system. This same system also has a MAudio card. Its not the processor thats the problem, its the chipset that your motherboard uses. Some VIA based motherboards have had problems with their PCI latency which causes all kinds of problems with audio cards. I suspect most of these issues have been solved in current motherboards. The bottom line is that if your are going to use an AMD processor do some research on the motherboard before you buy.

Thanks for the input. I have had this card since it came out and it runs fine on my current PC. PIII-800. Have not had any problems. But I need for HORSEPOWER in my PC. Anyway Thank You everyone for your input.

I wouldn't assume drivers from anyone work, much less MOTU. Many have had issues with MOTU equipment on PCs. That said, my MOTU MIDI Express XT (nothing even close to the 2408mkII) works just fine with my Athlon XP 1600+ and VIA KT266a chip set.
MOTU probably will tell you to buy a Mac.
