Hi, not sure exactly where to place this thread, but since the stuff goes in the control room, I thought I would start here.

I would like to build desks for my mixers/keyboards/daw etc...

I see the furniture in the catalogs for 1,000s and I know I could do it for less than half of that. My question is, are there any websites anyone knows of that show plans for mixing desks, daw desks, monitor stands or any other basic studio furniture?

hi mike,
i am fortunate enough to be working for my father who happens to own a cabinet company called Dutch Made Kitchens www.dutchmade.com . so, as you can imagine, i have created all the custom furniture you can imagine for my studio. what is the specific equip that you are making this stuff for. my main desk i have designed specifically with a mackie 32-8 mixer in mind. a digital 8 buss will fit as well (my dream upgrade). here is a link if you would like to check out the dimensions of my main desk. this also alows me to fit standard rackmount equip in the cabinets as well. i would highly recomend 3/4" material. i know it is heavy but it increases stability. let me know if you have any more questions.
