Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum. From what I have read here I think you people know about this stuff.
I am interested in recording as many channels as possible at once on a laptop. I would get the new Mackie MD24 but it's $2000. and you still need a computer to mix on.
So I would settle for 8 channels on a laptop if it can be done cheaper.
What I am wanting to do is record off our church mixer direct outs during live performances.
Any recommendations on brands of laptops, sound cards, analog converters, or whatever else I would need?
