The key commands are different!

If you're on a PC there is only one choice.

well i know that the windows key becomes the command key and the alt key becomes the option key and insert becomes help.. but i want to know if there is any downsides of getting a mac Keyboard instead.. i plan on switching to Mac somtime in the future

Well...I guess it would depend on your point of view. The color coded Pro Tools keyboards are meant to be navigational tools. A visual guide to shortcuts. If those visual guides no longer applied to the intended purpose I can't imagine what use they would provide over any standard Mac or PC keyboard.

Maybe I don't understand the question??

there is at least one company (in the UK, IIRC) that makes nifty little key stickers for ProTools and other DAW applications for cheaps - I'm thinking $15-$25? Try a Google search. Inexpensive way to find out if you want to spend the $100+ on a custom keyboard.
