JBL LSR 4328P V.S. MAudio EX66

Both are about the same price.:smokin:
Both have equally impressive specifications.:smokin:

I am looking for some product feedback from recording engineers.
JBL or MAudio : That is the question.:smokin:

I currently use JBL horn drivers with my live sound equipment and swear by them. However the MAudio speakers have got my attention.:scared:

If anyone has used either or both. What are your recomendations ?:smokin:

I own the JBL 4328 monitors. I am very pleased with them. The calibration setup is easy and with the ability to turn it on and off, as well as the EQ section, adds a little versatility when it comes to checking translation (not quiet the same as having 3 pairs of monitors, but if it sounds okay all over the place, it's probably alright). Plus the fact that you can do pretty much everything from the wireless remote control... well.. let's just say it gets the ladies pretty excited.

My only gripe about these monitors; low end. I really trust these kids down to about 100Hz. Below that it's THERE, but it doesn't have the same depth as, say the Dynaudio BM5A's or Event Precision 8's. If you don't have a second set of monitors or the matching subwoofer, you'll probably spend an extra CD-R or two checking the low end on other systems before you burn your master.

But let me reiterate, these monitors are freaking fantastic. I absolutely love them and have been able to hear stuff in my mixes I never could before. I would definitely trust the quality of JBL's pro gear over anything M-Audio is putting out (just my opinion).
